(ABERDOVEY BEACH)

Aberdyfi (often Aberdovey in English) is a seaside resort in the county of Gwynedd, West Wales. It lies on the banks of the Dyfi estuary to the south of the Snowdonia National Park. It is a beautiful little resort and is very popular with visitors due to its golden sandy beaches and the clear blue waters of the Blue Flag Beach.

There is plenty to do with boat trips and fishing trips from the harbour, and a choice of activity holidays and water sports including canoeing, sailing, sea kayaking and windsurfing.

Families with young children love it, as the wide expanses of sand are ideal for children's games. The yacht club is the focal point of all the water activities and the small jetty is open for a pleasant stroll.
